Nine sheets of drawings of lighting fixtures, no date, probably ca. 1940, drawn by Floyd E. Johnson. Among the forms are brass and glass chandeliers, ceiling fixtures, porch lights, and wall sconces. Two of the drawings as noted as being for Merrie Mills, the Charlottesville home of John Armstrong Chanoler. These have numbers beginning with MCS, as do other drawings, so it is possible that most of the drawings were for Merrie Mills. Prices are listed on the backs of many of the drawings. A rough sketch of a house is also found on the back of one drawing. The fixtures are in various styles, but mostly Colonial Revival. Others have neoclassical echoes, and one is a Chinese-inspired design.
